Authorizing the City Manager to execute an athletic field operation, maintenance and ground lease agreement with the Pflugerville Independent School District (PISD).
Summary
The Pflugerville Independent School District (PISD) has requested that the City enter into a new agreement with PISD for baseball fields located on the PISD property at Pflugerville Elementary School. This agreement provides for the City to operate, maintain, and improve the athletic fields at the Pflugerville Elementary School on Immanuel Road for the benefit of residents and property owners in the District, and the general public. These fields are used primarily by the Pflugerville Little League Baseball Association.
Status
A previous agreement between PISD and the City was effective October 1, 2002 and ended September 30, 2007. This agreement replaces the previous agreement with PISD. Pflugerville Little League has continued to use the fields since the previous agreement expired. There are no substantive changes in the proposed agreement from the previous agreement.
This agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney, Mr. George Hyde.
Fiscal Impact
The adoption of this agreement does not change maintenance requirements performed by the City, and thus does not change the fiscal requirements to the City.

Staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute this athletic field operation, maintenance and ground lease agreement with the Pflugerville Independent School District
