Summary
This purchase will improve the trail area in Cambridge Heights Park by replacing all of the decomposed granite surfacing with concrete as identified in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan adopted by City Council in 2021. Fun Abounds, Inc. is a buyboard vendor under contract #679-22. The project will also include replacement of current benches and trash receptacles. Funding for this project will come from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
This trail and accessibility improvement supports City Council strategic goals to engage the community through safe, vibrant parks and recreation services.
