Summary
The Sorento Subdivision is under development and generally located at the northeast quadrant of Weiss Lane and Jess Bohls Road. With limited exceptions, the entire development is located in the Pflugerville extraterritorial jurisdiction / unincorporated Travis County. The developer competitively sought out a retail natural gas provider and selected SiEnergy, based in Lakeway, Texas. Atmos Gas is the wholesaler. Per the proposed ordinance, the company shall at all times keep on file with the city a current map or set maps of the company's facilities within the city. A reference map has been prepared by the city, and is attached, to show the general location of the existing facilities in the city limits as a reference to this item.

The City Attorney worked with SiEnergy to develop this proposed ordinance.

This ordinance was approved on first reading on April 14, 2015 and on second reading on April 28, 2015.

Three readings of the ordinance are required per the City of Pflugerville Charter. The ordinance will be considered on third and final reading on May 12, 2015.

Fiscal Impact
