Summary
The City of Pflugerville solicited requests for qualifications from engineering firms to perform design services, bidding and construction administration for the Lake Pflugerville North shore parking lot expansion project.
City staff received seven (7) proposals. The City Engineering Department reviewed and scored the proposals based on set criteria. Davcar Engineering was the highest scoring firm based on the submitted statement of qualifications. Attached is a copy of the overall scoring matrix and summary.
Projected Future City Council Action
Future Council review and consideration for contractor selection for construction of Lake Pflugerville North Shore Parking Lot Expansion. The construction is planned for the early to mid fall 2013 time frame to avoid maximum conflict with the large number of lake visitors during the summer.
Fiscal Impact
The funding for this project is from the FY13 General Capital Reserve.
