Mayor Coleman is scheduled to present a proclamation declaring July 10, 2012 as Micah Lawrence Olympian Day in the City of Pflugerville to celebrate the accomplishments of Micah Lawrence who qualified for the US Women's Olympic swim team on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Ms. Lawrence is a 2008 graduate of Pflugerville High School and proudly calls Pflugerville her hometown. She was employed with the City of Pflugerville as a lifeguard from 2006 to 2009. The City of Pflugerville encourages the Pflugerville community to cheer for Micah Lawrence as she swims for the gold in the 2012 Olympic Games breaststroke competition.
