Summary
On July 26, 2011, the City Council approved a resolution making the initial appointments to the TIRZ board and designating Position One as the chair of the board of directors for a two-year ending December 14, 2012. The Tax Code specifies that the appointment of the chairman is to be made each year and to be effective on January 1. The attached resolution has been provided to make clarification that the appointment of the chairman of the TIRZ board will be made each year and provides for the appointment of Mr. Mike Marsh, Position One, as the chair for a one-year term beginning January 1, 2012.
