This project will reconstruct subdivision streets in the Heatherwilde/Windermere subdivisions. The streets include: Cactus Blossom Dr., Columbine St., Ardisia Dr., Simsbrook Dr., Dashwood Creek Dr., Blackthorn Dr., Thackeray Ln., Gravesend Rd., Isle of Man Rd., Gower St., Isle of Man Ct. and Langland Rd.
A preliminary engineering report (PER) was prepared by Hallf Associates in April 2016 as part of the initial agreement that included pavement design and geotechnical investigation information in order to determine design scope and costs. This PER provided recommendations for reconstructed street sections with 2 inches of Type C HMAC over 8 inches of recycled cement treated base.
The proposed scope of work in this supplemental agreement includes:
· approximately 6,600 linear feet of street in the Heatherwilde Subdivision;
· approximately 8,500 linear feet of street in the Windermere Subdivision;
· reconstruction of approximately 8,500 linear feet of sidewalk;
· approximately 250 driveway approaches; and
· curb and gutter failures will be identified and replaced as needed.
Preparation of the final engineering construction documents shall include but not be limited to: project design, topographic surveys where required, geotechnical investigation, environmental assessment and environmental clearances, identification of utility conflicts, required utility adjustments and replacements, coordination with utility companies, determination of ROW/easement acquisition, preliminary and final engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost, project manual and any other items necessary to successfully construct this project.
