Summary
IDIL Springbrook Commerce Center (“IDIL”) has submitted plans to the City of Pflugerville to build an industrial complex at 18100 Schultz Lane on the west side of Schultz Lane approximately ¼ mile north of Schultz Lane’s intersection with AW Grimes Boulevard. The site is located within the wastewater service area of SouthWest Water Company (“SWWC”). However, SWWC does not have gravity wastewater lines located adjacent to IDIL’s site. The closest existing SWWC wastewater lines are located at the intersection of Quitman Mountain Way and Pecos River Trail and the elevation of those existing wastewater lines do not allow gravity wastewater lines to be extended to IDIL’s site. IDIL has elected to construct a private wastewater lift station on their site (near the southwest corner of their site) and to extend a private 4-inch diameter force main from their lift station to the existing SWWC gravity wastewater lines at the intersection of Quitman Mountain Way and Pecos River Trail. The lift station and force main will be privately owned and maintained.

The force main will be on private property for much of its alignment, but will be installed within AW Grimes Boulevard right-of-way (aligned parallel to the road) for a few hundred feet and will cross AW Grimes Boulevard to Pecos River Trail. The force main will also be aligned along Pecos River Trail to Quitman Mountain Way at which point it will connect to existing SWWC gravity wastewater lines.
