Approving the procurement of ninety (90) Axon Taser 7 conducted energy weapons (CEW) and required accessories utilizing the Axon Enterprise, Inc. Taser 7 Plan, and utilizing the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative, in the amount of $59,044.08, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The existing agreement has reached its final year and the current Taser CEW units have reached end of life. The proposed new agreement will replace the current end-of-life equipment with ninety Taser 7 CEWs. In addition to providing ninety Taser 7 CEWs, the agreement includes all necessary cartridges, holsters, training cartridges, training instructor certifications and warranties. The total cost is $295,220.20, but as with the existing Taser plan, this agreement consists of 5 annual payments, with a year 1 payment of $59,044.08, and an annual payment of $59,044.03 for years two through five. Axon Enterprise, Inc. is providing the Taser 7 Plan pricing in accordance with the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative.

Taser 7 Plan, and utilizing the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative, in the amount of $59,044.08 for the first year’s installment and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
