Title

Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF A .072 ACRE EASEMENT TO SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY WITHIN THE JOHN DAVIS SURVEY NO. 13 OF TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Summary

AT&T is proposing a 3,153 square-foot Southwestern Bell Telephone Company Easement for Equipment Station and Underground Lines for existing and future surface and subsurface facilities. Aerial service and associated equipment are prohibited in the easement. The proposed easement and appraisal report are attached to this item.  The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the easement agreement.

Previous City Council Action

This ordinance was approved on first reading on March 22, 2016.

 

Fiscal Impact

The offer letter and appraisal report include the amount of $22,501.00 for the easement. 

 

Staff Recommendation

Approve the ordinance on second reading.  Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement to establish the proposed easement.
