Summary
This fee schedule lists the required fees for food establishment permits. In order to facilitate a smooth transition between the regulatory agencies, staff has drafted a fee schedule essentially identical to the fees charged by the Williamson County and Cities Health District for food establishment permits. Staff will evaluate the fee structure over the upcoming year and anticipates the possibility of fee increase adjustments to help offset the new rates charged by Bureau Veritas.
Status
The proposed fee schedule will become effective January 1, 2013.
Deadline for City Council Action
Staff is requesting approval on December 11, 2012 in order to begin the city's management of the Food Establishment Ordinance on January 1, 2013
Fiscal Impact
Since the fees are associated with a pass-through contractual agreement, there is no fiscal impact associated with this resolution.
