Corporal Griffith submitted an award nomination for the Pflugerville Police Department to the Central Texas Crime Prevention Association for the Outstanding Crime Prevention Agency. Central Texas Crime Prevention determined from that nomination that Corporal Griffith was deserving of the Outstanding Crime Prevention Specialist Award. This is the second time that the Pflugerville Police Department has received the agency award.
