Summary
The City of Pflugerville's Home Rule Charter provides that any member of the council may be removed from office for failure to attend three consecutive regular city council meetings without being excused by the council. Councilmember Omar Peña missed three consecutive regular city council meetings on February 25, 2014, March 11, 2014 and March 25, 2014 due to required work-related travel. This resolution has been provided to allow the City Council to excuse the absences.
