Discuss and Consider action to authorize the PCDC Interim Executive Director to enter into a professional services agreement with DCS Engineering, not to exceed $317,823, for the purpose of Impact Way Phase IV final engineering services to include construction bidding, construction administration and management, and materials testing.
Summary: PCDC is requesting DCS to perform services associated with the Bidding and Award, Construction Administration, Construction Management, and Material Testing services for Impact Way Extension Phase IV, which will extend the road from the Southern property line of SH-130 Commerce Center to the Southern property line of the 17.7 acres tract that is located South of the Commerce Center. The Impact Way roadway and right of way will extend southward by approximately 1,575 ft within the 17.7 acres tract. Public water and wastewater improvements will also be constructed along the Impact Way road extension with fire hydrants, about four new curb inlets, storm sewer serving the roadway, and discharge into the detention pond.
Prior Action: Approved preparation of final design proposal including creation of construction plans and final plat with engineer’s opinion of most probable construction cost and associated project schedule dated April 30, 2024.
