Presentation regarding activation of Stage 3 Water Restrictions.
Summary
Due to the combined storage of the Highland Lakes continuing to fall, the city of Pflugerville will activate Stage 3 Water Restrictions at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013 as per the requirements of the City's Drought Contingency Plan approved by the City Council on June 11, 2013.
The Stage 3 water restriction trigger point requires that all water customers and residents, regardless of service providers, adhere to a once-a-week watering schedule based on the last digit of the street address, with no watering on the weekends.
Scheduled watering days (residents and businesses) as determined by the last digit of a street address are as follows:
0-1 Monday
2-3 Tuesday
4-5 Wednesday
6-7 Thursday
8-9 Friday
Any entity or person not following the rules set forth in the City's adopted Drought Contingency Plan will be subject to administrative charges on their utility bill as well as service disconnection for repeated watering violations.
