Approving an agreement with Alpha Facilities Solution, LLC in the amount of $101,384 for Facility Condition Assessment associated with all city facilities, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Team currently provides repairs and preventative maintenance for over 167,000 sq. ft. of the city’s facilities. Alpha conducting asset inventory on all major building equipment systems would provide a fixed, visible, and assessable building equipment list for a Facility Condition Assessment that would not only would address current facilities but would also provide a platform that is expandable to allow additional facilities to come on line as the city facility inventory grows. This assessment will give the city a lifecycle cost analysis of existing buildings to include current capital investment, current operating costs, risk analysis, and future capital replacement costs. This assessment will be a powerful tool for Facilities when planning and prioritizing remediation, fiscal year budgeting needs, and maintenance programming.
