Summary
Texas Water Code Section 13.248 authorizes retail public utilities to enter into contracts designating areas to be served and customers to be served by those retail public utilities.
Sorento Holdings 2012, LLC has requested that Manville release their rights to serve 10.0 acres of real property out of the JOHN L. BRAY SURVEY NO. 10, ABSTRACT NO. 73, in Travis County, Texas and currently in the Manville CCN (No. 11144) so that all customers located in the property may receive retail water service from the City of Pflugerville and be included in the City's CCN No. 11303.
The attached agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Status
City staff has worked with Manville WSC and Sorento Holdings, LLC to provide the proper documentation for this service area agreement.
Fiscal Impact
The City anticipates revenue from future customers serviced in this area.
