Summary
Please find the attached ordinance which updates the Master Fee Schedule for fees effective beginning October 1, 2021. The Master Fee Schedule is attached to this ordinance and has also been included in the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget as Appendix A.
This schedule outlines the fees to be assessed for FY22 for a variety of services, permits, activities, and events provided by the City. The attached Master Fee Schedule Fee Comparison document details the changes for each fee, from the current to the proposed and includes a reference to the current fee authorization (as applicable).
The City Council's Finance and Budget Committee reviewed new and revised fees included in the proposed Master Fee Schedule. The Committee received information from each of the following departments regarding the proposed fees:
Parks and Recreation (Recommended by the Committee on May 27, 2021)
Revisions to 1849 Park facility reservation fees
Addition of 1849 Park special events and full-facility rental fees
Addition of Recreation Center rental fees
Streets and Drainage (Recommended by the Committee on May 27, 2021)
Addition of a banner installation fee
Water and Wastewater (Recommended by the Committee on July 29, 2021)
Increases in water/wastewater rates that result in an average bill impact of $6.20
