Approving an agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. in the amount of $99,856.00 for professional services associated with the 2018 Lake Pflugerville Park Improvements & Biehle Property Concept Project.
Summary
This project includes park improvements to Lake Pflugerville and will be divided into two parts - "Part 1 - Preliminary Design Report" for master planning scope refinement, conceptual design, and opinion of probable construction costs verification and "Part 2 - Final Design & Construction." This agreement is for Part 1 only and should be complete within four (4) to six (6) months from start.
The consultant will work with the City and other regulatory entities to achieve an efficient and acceptable implementation of the project that is in the spirit of the existing park Master Plan.
Professional consulting services for both parts include but are not limited to landscape architecture, park planning, civil engineering, environmental consulting, public engagement, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, MEP engineering and surveying.
Attached is the agreement, the Master Plan graphic and the full Master Plan Report.
This agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney.
Status
City Council approved the selection of Halff Associates, Inc. for this project at the August 28, 2018 regular Council meeting. City staff has negotiated with Halff Associates, Inc. to establish a scope, schedule and fee for this project.

Fiscal Impact
The total available funding for this project is $3,600,000 from the 2014 General Obligation Bonds.
