Approving a supplemental agreement #1 with MWM Design Group in the amount of $204,081.35 for professional engineering services associated with the design and construction administration for the Mansions at Stone Hill Park Development project and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.
Summary
This amendment provides for final design and construction phase services for the Mansions at Stone Hill Park Development Project. Preliminary design of the project has been completed and all constraints related to topographic features, drainage issues, environmental issues and costs related to all elements to the site have been identified. MWM Design Group will make a presentation to the Parks and Recreation Commission in December and subsequently to the City Council regarding their findings. Execution of Supplement #1 will initiate full design of the concept plan necessary for bidding and construction of the project.
This agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney.
Status
City staff has negotiated with MWM Design Group to establish a scope of services, schedule and fee for this supplemental agreement.
Prior City Council Action
A professional engineering services contract for preliminary design services was presented to Council and approved on June 9, 2015 for $ 30,653.94.
Fiscal Impact
The majority of funding for this project comes from the November 2014 bond election, with additional funding from parkland dedication funds and City matching funding included in the Mansions at Stone Hill Phase II Project.

Staff recommends approval of the supplemental agreement #1 with MWM Design Group for professional engineering services associated with the design and construction administration for the Mansions at Stone Hill Park Development project in the amount of $204,081.35.
