Approving an Agreement Regarding Wholesale Wastewater Service (2013) for the proposed Pfairway Park Subdivision.
Summary
Southwest Water holds the Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) to provide wastewater to the area between A.W. Grimes Boulevard and Schultz Lane where the Pfairway Park Subdivision is proposed. By agreement approved in 2005, the City of Pflugerville provides wholesale wastewater service to four tracts iin this area for a maximum of 145 living unit equivalents. The proposed residential development will exceed the available LUEs provided for in that agreement, which has created the need for this proposed agreement which allows an additional 20 LUEs for this area. This agreement ends January 2025 which is identical to the termination date of the first agreement.
The City Attorney has reviewed this agreement.
Status
The original Agreement Regarding Wholesale Wastewater Service was approved in 2005.
Prior City Council Action
The Pfairway Park ALUR was approved by the City Council on March 26, 2013 and proposes 69 single-family residential lots.
Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact to the City associated with the approval of this item.
