Summary
This project will construct the remainder of Pfluger Farm Lane connecting Pflugerville Parkway to Town Center Drive. As a result of economic development agreements for Project Arista (Data Center Park) and the property owner, Terrell Timmermann, the City agreed to construct Pfluger Farm Lane, a north-south collector roadway, from the intersection of Town Center Drive within Stone Hill Town Center to the southern-most property line of the proposed 40-acre data center site, approximately 1450 linear feet of roadway. Per the agreement, the deadline for the completion of Pfluger Farm Lane is July 25, 2016. Construction is anticipated to take 240 days. The City has already constructed 250 linear feet of roadway on the south side of the property, intersecting with W. Pflugerville Parkway.
The attached bid tabulation includes the base bid values in which the low bidder was Chasco Constructors, LTD. The bid received is within the estimated budget.
Status
The project was advertised for bids on May 20, 2015. Four (4) bids were received and opened on June 12, 2015.
Fiscal Impact
This project is funded through 2015 Certificates of Obligation.
