Summary
The management of the City's various boards, commissions and committees has been evaluated. The City's affiliation with Keep Texas Beautiful and the efforts of the Keep Pflugerville Beautiful Committee have been of value, but greater efficiency is now required with regard to the number of citizen boards, commissions and committees. This resolution has been included on the agenda to allow the Council to take action to dissolve the Keep Pflugerville Beautiful Committee and to establish the Parks and Recreation Commission as the Keep Texas Beautiful Affiliate.
