Title

Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Summary

During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenues that were not originally approved or redistribute funding between departments.  These proposed budget amendments are intended to redistribute the merit increases from the Administration and Utility Administration departments, where budgeted, to each of the departments.  The attached summary provides the adjustment amount by department. 

Prior City Council Action

The fiscal year 2016 budget was approved on September 29, 2015.  The first amendment to the fiscal year 2016 budget was approved on May 10, 2016.  This ordinance was approved on first reading on June 28, 2016.

There is no deadline for action.
