Approving a resolution reappointing the Downtown East Community Stakeholder Committee.
Summary
As the Downtown East project begins to take shape community input will be important to creating the vibrant project that meets the goals adopted by City Council for this project in April 2022. In the summer of 2021, a committee was appointed to assist in the decision making process for the purchase of the 29 acre parcel designated for Downtown East. This group would serve similarly to assist in the process of furthering the development plans and providing input on funding opportunities for the development of the Downtown East project.
This committee was originally appointed by City Council on May 10, 2022. Since the appointment there have been some committee members that were unable to participate. This resolution updates and confirms the appointees to serve on the stakeholder committee.
