Approving an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of Pflugerville and Travis County Emergency Services District #2 for provision of emergency medical services at Fire Station #3 at 2301 Kelly Lane.
Summary
Travis County ESD#2 is seeking to augment response times for emergency medical services by hosting an ambulance at Fire Station #3 on Kelly Lane. To do so, a modular building is proposed to house the crews on a 12-hour shift basis. In the spirit of interlocal cooperation and ensuring the health, safety and welfare of Pflugerville area residents, the proposed ILA would permit the installation of a 24'x44' modular building located at the rear of the existing fire station.
Status
A draft of the agreement has been presented to ESD2 staff and is in review by their legal counsel. Floyd Akers, City Attorney, has reviewed and approved the proposed agreement as well.
