Summary
The Mayor Pro Tem is a Councilmember elected by the City Council to act as Mayor during the disability or absence of the Mayor. When acting in the capacity of Mayor, the Mayor Pro Tem has all of the rights and responsibilities and is subject to the limitations conferred on the Mayor. Doug Weiss is currently serving as Mayor Pro Tem.
