Approving a resolution in support of Regional Transportation Improvements.
Summary
Necessary improvements to enhance safety and alleviate congestion along SH 130 are warranted as the region continues to grow. Funding for the project to add a lane in each direction was appropriated but the project has been delayed. The attached resolution calls on the Texas Transportation Commission to act to reinstate the project, as well as the direct connect ramp from Southbound SH 130 to Westbound US 290 (Manor Expressway).
