Summary
The subject tract is located south of Picadilly Drive at the intersection with Fitzgerald Lane, between Picadilly Court and Jerusalem Drive. It is directly across the street from Caldwell Elementary School. The tract is 9.82 acres and is predominantly composed of Gilleland Creek flood plain. This is the only flood plain tract between Picadilly Drive and Grand Avenue Parkway that the City does not currently control. The acquisition of this property will be a nice addition to our current parkland inventory. The Parks and Recreation Commission recommended acceptance of the donation at their regular meeting on July 19, 2012.
