Approving an extension of the required 60-day public hearing period required by Subchapter 3.4 for a proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment known as the NewGrowth Comprehensive Plan Amendment (2022-2-CPA) for property located at the northeast corner of Immanuel Rd and Wells Branch Pkwy.
Summary
The applicant is requesting that their proposed Future Land Use Map (FLUM) amendment request be postponed to the November 14, 2023 agenda. Subchapter 3.4, Procedures, of the Unified Development Code requires that action be taken within 60 days of the public hearing at the Planning & Zoning Commission, which was held July 17, 2023. The Unified Development Code allows for a maximum of two 30 day extensions. Should action not be taken on November 14, 2023, the application will be considered withdrawn and no further action shall be taken without a new application being submitted.
The proposed amendment is to request a Future Land Use Map amendment for an approximately 19.8 acre parcel from Neighborhood Retail/Office/Commercial to Mixed-Density Neighborhood.
