Air Quality Awareness Week (AQAW) 2020 <https://www3.epa.gov/airnow/airaware/> will be held on May 4-8, 2020. This is a national event promoted by the EPA, NWS, CDC, U.S. Forest Service, and U.S. Department of State. Also, in conjunction with EPA’s 50^th anniversary, May is designated as “Improving Our Nation’s Air” month.

The theme for this year is “Better Air, Better Health!” The goal is to promote air quality awareness and encourage people to check the Air Quality Index (AQI) daily.
