Summary
The addition of section 31.21 Reserve Police Force is needed to grant the Chief of Police the authority to appoint an officer as a Reserve Police Officer and comply with Texas Local Government Code, Sec. 341.012 Police Reserve Force. Reserve Police Officers are non-paid positions within the Police Department.
