Summary
The City of Pflugerville staff solicited sealed bids for Sidewalk Raising/Repairs. Advertisements were placed in the Pflugerville Pflag for two consecutive weeks; notice of the bid was on the City's website for the duration of the bidding process; and Texas Bid System was used to engage additional vendor interest. Austin/San Antonio Concrete Raising LLC was the sole bidder.
City staff has reevaluated the condition of sidewalks within the city and would like to prepare a more comprehensive program for bidding in the near future. This program will include sidewalk raising, sidewalk repair, and sidewalk replacement.
Deadline for City Council Action
Action is requested on November 24, 2015.
Fiscal Impact
Funds for sidewalk repair are included in the operating portion of the Streets Department budget.
