Summary
Discussion regarding the Fiscal Years 2027-2031 Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan and the investment in the City's infrastructure and correlation to the Aspire Pflugerville 2040 Comprehensive Plan, as well as the long-range planning documents adopted as an extension of the comprehensive plan, which includes the following:
- Drainage Master Plan
- Facilities Master Plan
- Parks, Recreation and Open-Space Master Plan
- Mobility Master Plan
- Reclaimed Water Master Plan
- Water Master Plan
- Wastewater Master Plan
As required by the City Charter, the Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission annually reviews and submits the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan to the City Council and City Manager at least 120 days before the beginning of the budget year that starts in October. The plan must include a prioritized list of projects that are programmed with a recommended year of construction. Please refer to the attachment for the specific project and details on funding source and timing of each proposed project.
City staff will request a formal approval and recommendation of the plan at the May 4, 2026 Planning and Zoning Meeting.
