Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2013 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Summary
During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenue that were not originally approved. During fiscal year 2012-2013, budget amendments will be processed on a quarterly basis. Attached is a summary of the proposed amendments for the third quarter which includes the purpose of the amendment proposal, the amounts, and the line items affected.
Prior City Council Action
The FY 2012-2013 Budget was approved on September 11, 2012. This is the third amendment to that budget.
This ordinance was approved on first reading on August 13, 2013.
Deadline for City Council Action
Prior to the end of the 2013 fiscal year.
Projected Future City Council Action
Subsequent amendments will be presented for approval at the end of the fourth quarter.
