Approving a Resolution with a caption reading: A Resolution of the City of Pflugerville, Texas authorizing the vacation, abandonment and release of two existing public wastewater pipeline easements located generally north of Pecan and east of Weiss Ln, originally granted to the City by easements recorded in Travis County Real Property Records Document Nos. 2020101338 and 2020101339 and associated with the Lakeside Meadows development.
Summary
A portion of the alignment of the offsite wastewater line constructed for the Lakeside Meadows development was changed during construction at the request of the affected landowners. Easements have been dedicated for the new alignment and the line has been fully constructed along the new alignment. The easements along the previous alignment are no longer needed.
Council approval of this Resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute the documents to vacate, abandon and release the wastewater pipeline easements along the previous alignment that are no longer needed. The wastewater line has been constructed along the new alignment and the City has confirmed that it does not need the easement areas along the original alignment. If Council approves these abandonments, the vacation, abandonment, and release agreements will be executed by the City and recorded in the Travis County Real Property Records.
