Summary
The City Charter, Section 4.06, requires that the City Manager shall appoint the head of each administrative department, subject to the approval of the city council. Roger Heaney has served as Assistant Director of Communications for more than 2 years. Roger has 27 years of experience in marketing, public affairs, media relations, community relations, crisis communications, customer relations, employee communications, social media, video production and philanthropic and sponsorship/corporate development.
Roger has held positions with City of Round Rock as Marketing and Events Manager, Time Warner Cable as Director of Marketing & Communications, Mediaone Television Advertising as Video Producer and Disney Theme Park Operations & Show Services Manager.
