Approving a resolution establishing a City of Pflugerville Stage Rental Policy.
Summary
City staff developed a Stage Rental Policy at the request of the City Manager’s Office as we have had multiple requests to use the new stage since its purchase in FY19. The policy provides a formal process to rent the stage and sets two rental rates. The standard rate ($2000/day) is comparable to what other cities in Texas are charging and in line with the recommendation from the manufacturer. There is also a special rate of $750/day for local nonprofit organizations who are affiliated with Pflugerville ISD (PfISD) or are hosting events benefiting PfISD or City of Pflugerville programs or initiatives. The special rate is intended only to cover the cost of staff time, fuel, and wear and tear on equipment.
