Summary
This agreement authorizes Manville to disconnect water service for customers who fail to pay City wastewater charges or establish wastewater service. It replaces the 2013 agreement and may be terminated with 60 days’ notice. Both parties’ legal teams and Manville Water Supply Corporation have approved it.
Manville provides retail water utility service within areas where the City provides retail wastewater utility service. Under the agreement, the City may request up to 15 disconnections per month, and the two entities may share customer account data, including winter averaging and monthly customer consumption reports.
The agreement allows the City to disconnect service for nonpayment and provides water usage data needed for industrial pretreatment billing, supporting wastewater revenue collection.
The City will pay:
• A $500 monthly administrative and subscription fee.
• $100 per requested disconnection.
• No charge for water consumption reports for up to 10 customers monthly.
