Summary
This resolution is for authorization of the City Manager to execute a Vacation, Abandonment and Release of Easement to vacate an existing drainage easement within the Pflugerville Farms Phase 1 Site development property. This existing drainage easement (Document number 2013075961) was dedicated in the past to accommodate an existing low area on the property near an existing culvert under Pfluger Farm Lane. The proposed project eliminates the need for this drainage easement by re-grading the site to eliminate this low point. Additionally, the Pflugerville Farms Phase 1 site development project has dedicated a new, smaller, drainage easement (dedicated by plat, document number 202000161) for the area of the existing culvert which is sufficient to cover the public drainage easement needs in this area. Vacating this drainage easement will allow a larger portion of the site to be utilized for site development improvements.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the resolution and vacation instrument as to form.
