Summary
This project will construct a new regional lift station to service development in the Wilbarger Creek basin.
The construction of the new high school requires that this project must be in service by December 2016.
The attached bid tabulation includes the bid values in which the low bidder was $2,407,994.00. The bid received is within the estimated budget.
Status
The project was advertised for bids on September 23, 2015. Six (6) bids were received and opened on October 28, 2015.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for this project is from wastewater impact fees and is included in the Utility Capital Improvement Plan.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends awarding the construction contract for the Sorento/Carmel Lift Station project to the lowest responsible bidder, Aaron Concrete Contractors, LP, in the amount of $2,407,994.00.
