Summary
Senior Access is a nonprofit organization committed to helping seniors in Pflugerville maintain their independence by providing free transportation and support services. Since 2008, the City has allocated $50,000 annually to Senior Access. This funding helps expand Senior Access' ability to serve the senior community in Pflugerville by offering alternative transportation options within Pflugerville and nearby areas.
Since FY22, Senior Access has averaged 4,683 on-demand rides per year for qualified seniors aged 60 and older. These rides primarily take seniors to essential destinations such as grocery stores, medical appointments, and religious establishments, supporting their ability to stay independent and engaged in the community.
