Deadline for City Council Action
If the City Council would like to call a bond election for transportation, parks, facilities or other projects, the deadline to call an election for November 3, 2015 is August 24, 2015. The last regular meeting prior to the deadline to call an election will take place August 11, 2015. Action is requested by July 28, 2015 to allow for any necessary document preparation by bond counsel.
Fiscal Impact
Election costs are estimated at $30,000. Election costs for the November 2014 General and Special Bond election were $29,009.16.
