Update on the Library Expansion project and presentation of color scheme board.
Summary
The expansion and renovation of the library remains on schedule for completion by April 13, 2013. The lower foundation slab was poured on May 1. The upper foundation slab should be poured the week of May 7th.The primary purpose of this item is to present the color scheme board developed for the project through the collaboration of the project team, including the architect and library staff. A mock up of the exterior walls is also being prepared by the contractor to ensure understanding and consistency of the plan implementation. The color scheme board was presented to the Library Advisory Board on April 21.

Fiscal Impact
The expansion and renovation of the library is funded with General Obligation bonds approved by the voters in 2008.
