(Halff) in the amount of $271,815.93 for professional engineering services associated with the 2023 Public Works Pavement Maintenance Program. On January 11, 2022 the City of Pflugerville approved and executed the Professional Services Agreement with Halff for the professional engineering design services for Street Reconstruction Package 1 as part of the 2020 Transportation Bond Program (the “Program”). Package 1 includes the following streets: Applewood Drive, Cedar Ridge Drive, Kay Lane, Meadow Creek Drive, Mountain View Drive, Oak Ridge Drive, Plumbago Drive, W. Custers Creek Bend and 10th Street.
During the design phase, staff identified that this adjacencies between the capital program streets and those identified for rehabilitation in the 2023 Public Works Pavement Maintenance Program. To avoid disruption from two rounds of construction within the same subdivision, this proposed amendment will split add the streets in the 2023 Pavement Maintenance Program to the engineer’s work so that the project construction can be bid together.
Additionally, to avoid delays, certain bond program streets that could be constructed earlier are grouped and will be bid as Package 1A. The streets identified to receive pavement reconstruction in Package 1A are: Kay Lane, Mountain View Drive, Plumbago Drive, W. Custers Creek Bend and 10th Street.
