Title
Authorizing the City Manager to execute two separate dedication deeds for two platted, public parkland lots within the Spring Trails Phase 1B final plat.
Summary
The Spring Trails residential subdivision is located generally southeast of the New Meister Ln and Schultz Ln intersection, in the northwestern portion of the city limits. Lot 1, Block N (28.503 acres) and Lot 80, Block M (13.640 acres) are located generally west and east of Springbrook Rd. Both lots contain the 100 year floodplain within drainage easements, and were dedicated as public parkland through the Spring Trails Phase 1B final plat. Prior to the Phase 1B final plat, the southern portion of Lot 1, Block N was conveyed to the City in 2006 through a separate instrument. A note on the Phase 1B final plat clarified that the full extent of both lots were to be dedicated as parkland. Final conveyance of the remaining land was not pursued until the full extent of hike and bike trails depicted on the preliminary plan within the subject lots were constructed with the adjacent phases of development. All improvements have now been constructed/accepted and final conveyance of the remaining parkland is now being pursued.
