Summary
The City of Pflugerville was recognized with three national communications awards on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) Savvy Awards banquet in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the second time Pflugerville has received a national award recognition for communications, and we were honored to have Pflugerville's work recognized as Savvy.
The awards highlight our efforts to provide quality communications to our residents. The Pflugerville tourism video "Join in the Pfun" took a Savvy award while the www.pfuntx.com tourism website earned a third place Award of Excellence. Pflugerville's 2014 Bond Video took a Silver Circle award.
These same three projects won first place at the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) competition this June in Houston.
The city has invited city videographer Wade Maness, Big Blue Sky Advertising and city staff who worked on these projects to be in attendance and be recognized for their efforts.
