Title

Approving a resolution confirming the granting of consent to the creation of Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 24, a political subdivision to be situated within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Pflugerville, Texas.

Summary

Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 24 (MUD 24), also known as Carmel East, consists of approximately 348.361 acres located just west of Cameron Road and and south of Jesse Bohls Road within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction.  In October 2015 the City Council consented to the creation of the MUD, at that time named MUD 23, upon petition of the land owner, CE Development.  The resolution ratifies the Council's action in the fall of 2015 to consent to the MUD, and renames/renumbers it as Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 24 which is required for the creation of the MUD to proceed with application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
