Authorize the City Manager to approve the purchase of replacement Cisco network switches for an amount not to exceed $80,000 from Presidio Networked Solutions Group, LLC.
Summary
As planned in the FY21 budget, staff recommends approval to purchase thirteen Cisco 9200 switches through DIR to replace switches approaching end of life at the Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Recreation Center, Library, and PAWS. The replacement switches will also allow for potential expansion of the network as we continue to prepare for future growth.
Prior City Council Action
City Council authorized this project as part of the FY21 Budgets.
Deadline for City Council Action
Approval is requested on June 8th to receive the switches before the new fiscal year begins October 1.
