Authorizing the City Manager to execute a public drainage easement within the Picadilly Business Park Subdivision.
Summary
The drainage easement is necessary to convey storm water across multiple properties before the stormwater enters the regional storm water detention facility owned by the City of Austin. Per the site plan, the proposed drainage facility will be piped. However, the easement will allow for both a underground pipe or an earthen swale to provide flexibility to the City in the future. On-site drainage for the individual lots was not designed through the subdivision process. The need for the easement was identified in the course of the site development application review process. The subject properties are within the Picadilly Business Park Subdivision and are zoned as Light Industrial (LI).
